GrantPanda respects your right to request deletion of your personal data. This page describes the process for submitting a data deletion request, what data is eligible for deletion, and what data may be retained for legitimate reasons.

Follow these steps to request deletion of your data:
Send an email to adnankhadnan@gmail.com or contact@grantpanda.online with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address or phone number associated with your account or the platform through which you used GrantPanda services.
Where required to protect account security and prevent unauthorised deletion, we may ask you to verify your identity. This may involve confirming details associated with your account.
We will identify what personal data we hold about you across the relevant GrantPanda products — Scholarship Platform, ICSB, or WhatsApp-related data.
Eligible personal data will be deleted or anonymised. This process typically takes up to 30 days from receipt of a verified request.
Where applicable law or legitimate institutional obligations require us to retain certain data (for example, institutional audit records), we will inform you what data has been retained and why. Only the minimum required data will be kept.
Once deletion is complete, we will send a confirmation to the email address you used to submit the request. If you do not receive a response within 30 days, please follow up.
Where applicable, your deletion request may include WhatsApp-related information processed by GrantPanda, such as:
Information that GrantPanda is required to retain for legitimate legal, security, audit, or institutional record-keeping purposes may be retained for the applicable period rather than deleted.
GrantPanda can delete or remove WhatsApp-related data that GrantPanda itself controls or stores. Data processed independently by Meta Platforms, Inc. (such as message content transmitted through the WhatsApp Business Platform) is subject to Meta's own applicable policies and processes, and GrantPanda does not claim the ability to directly delete data from Meta's systems. GrantPanda is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of Meta Platforms, Inc.
Certain data may be retained despite a deletion request where retention is required by applicable law or legitimate institutional obligations:

If you are a student or parent whose data is held as part of an institution's ICSB deployment, your request may need to be coordinated with the institution. The institution may have independent legal obligations to retain your records.
Contact your institution's administrator in addition to submitting a request to GrantPanda if you want your data removed from both the institution's records and the GrantPanda platform.
For users of ICSB deployed by an educational institution, some personal data is controlled or maintained on behalf of the deploying institution. Deletion requests may therefore need to be coordinated with the relevant institution where the institution is responsible for the underlying student or parent records.

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion process within 30 days of receiving a verified request. We will send a confirmation email when the process is complete.
In cases requiring coordination with an institution or involving complex data holdings, the process may take longer. We will keep you informed of any delay.
